Bronze Plate AB2

What is Aluminum Bronze AB2?

AB2 is a general purpose nickel-aluminium bronze with 10% aluminium and 5% of nickel and iron, conforming to the requirements of Standard BS 1400 AB2 CuAl10Fe5Ni5 and BS EN 1982-2008 CC333G CuAl10Fe5Ni5-C.

Bronze AB2 nickel-aluminium bronze is a non-sparking material with excellent performance in cryogenic service where the mechanical properties are maintained.

Aluminum Bronze AB2 Charateristic

Aluminum Bronze AB2 has excellent cavitation, corrosion and erosion resistance in seawater as well as other chloride containing environments due to a tough oxide film, with high wear and abrasion resistance. High strength, wear and corrosion-resistant. Requires adequate lubrication.
